Patrick Scott, HFI Advisors: With nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Patrick has amassed a wealth of knowledge and insights across many areas.

Before joining HFI Advisors, Patrick began his career working for Arvest Bank, where he served in various roles while helping clients address their financial needs. Although he enjoyed his time in the banking world, in 2016, he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a financial advisor.

Patrick is a financial professional who can offer investment and insurance products and services. He has passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities exams and holds life, health and accidental death and disability insurance licenses. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Missouri Southern State University.

Matt Cash, FORVIS: Matt is a member of FORVIS National Construction & Real Estate Group, serving as the construction industry team leader for FORVIS’ Southern Missouri practice unit.  In that role, he provides audit and review services to clients in the construction industry. 

He is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and attends annual CFMA conferences to stay current on construction industry topics.  He was a founding board member of the Ozarks Chapter of CFMA and has served as the chapter’s president.  He holds the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP®) designation from the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals.  Matt is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Missouri Society of CPAs.  Matt is a 2006 summa cum laude graduate of Drury University, Springfield, Missouri, with a B.A. degree in accounting.

Nathan Fitzgerald, FORVIS: Nathan serves as a member of FORVIS National Manufacturing & Distribution Group, FORVIS transportation and logistics team and the Springfield office’s retail and business services team and is a Private Client Services advisor. He provides tax planning, consulting, accounting and preparation services for individuals and closely held businesses. Nathan works with family and private equity-owned businesses to develop strategies that reduce tax burdens and improve profitability. 

He has served as an instructor as part of FORVIS University’s firmwide internal training programs and for Camp, assisting with immersive training for firmwide new hires, and he has authored various articles in the industries he serves. Nathan has participated in the Great Game Experience to study open book management and learn about the cultural change that can affect organizations that employ this management technique.

Prior to joining FORVIS, Nathan was the manager of international and domestic income taxation for a large sporting goods retailer. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Missouri Society of CPAs and Springfield Regional Economic Partnership’s Advisory Council. Nathan is a 2007 graduate of Drury University, Springfield, Missouri, with a B.A. degree in accounting.

Jason Griffin, FORVIS: Jason provides tax planning, accounting and consulting services for a wide variety of clients, including corporations, S corporations, partnerships and individuals across all BKD service areas, with a primary focus on manufacturing and distribution and construction and real estate.

He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Missouri Society of CPAs, the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ozarks Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association.  He is a 2011 graduate of Pittsburg State University, Kansas, with a B.B.A. degree in accounting.
